AThe Warehouse Management System (WMS) focuses on managing warehouse operations and streamlining various processes. It consists of three main functions: Receiving, Storage, and Delivery.

1. Receiving: This involves the intake of goods into the warehouse, including barcode labeling. The process starts with:

  • Entering product information or pulling data from the system for items to be received.
  • Printing barcodes for the items to be received.
  • Verifying the quantity of goods and labeling them with barcodes.
  • Recording product information into the warehouse management system to prepare for storage.

2. Storage: This process involves storing goods after they have been received, checked, and labeled. The steps include:

  • Preparing storage areas for the goods.
  • Selecting storage locations based on product types and recording this information in the warehouse management system.

3. Delivery: This involves order processing and shipping. Examples of functions include:

  • Receiving orders from Marketplaces (e.g., Lazada, Shopee, TikTok) via API (accessing functions or data from other programs or services without needing to understand the internal details of the system).
  • Creating shipping lists by importing Excel files without a limit on the number of items.
  • Automatically generating order lists from Marketplaces for preparation and shipping.
  • Printing shipping labels from Marketplaces and storing them as PDFs, which can be printed at any time.
  • Users picking items based on system recommendations.
  • Users confirming item picking, with the system automatically updating stock levels.
  • Packing the goods.
  • Sending shipping details to carriers via API, such as DHL or local delivery services.

Additionally, the WMS includes supplementary systems such as:

  • User Management System – For adding or editing users.
  • Security System – To set permissions for different functions by department or individual.
  • Master System – For setting up configurations, including:
    • Warehouse Locations
      – Areas for storing goods, with unlimited sub-warehouses.
    • Product Management.
    • Customer Management.
    • Shelf Management.
